Marvel’s The Defenders Premiere
LOCATION: NEW YORK CITY
To celebrate the highly anticipated small-screen team up of Marvel’s The Defenders, MKG created an experience that embraced the grittiness of the city these heroes defend.
Marvel fans and VIPs alike were treated to a screening of the miniseries’ first two episodes at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center. A massive 50’ step and repeat provided talent with plenty of real estate to soak in the celebration. Brand ambassadors dressed like Nirvana roadies captured fan’s excitement on branded Polaroid film as a simple takeaway from the evening.
The premiere’s after party took place at the Standard Hotel’s infamous Biergarten. We enhanced the venue’s rough-around-the-edges aesthetic with cast iron and gunmetal outdoor seating, dark leather lounge furniture, and plenty of red accent lighting. Neon signage set in grungy handwritten lettering and a photo booth complete with smoking oil barrel helped bring the show to life.
